Dr. Steve Custer serves as the Lead Pastor of Waters Edge Church, faithfully leading the congregation alongside his wife, Kristal. With a heart for ministry and leadership, Dr. Custer brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and pastoral care to the church. He holds several academic degrees including a B.M. from Georgetown College, B.S. from Oakland City University, M.A. from Marshall University, M.Th. from Campbellsville University, and M.S.S.M. from Oakland City University, along with graduate study at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. He also earned his Ed.D. from Oakland City University and holds professional certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Dr. Custer is passionate about guiding people in their faith and equipping the church to grow and serve the community.

Dave Lutz has served as the Worship Leader at Water’s Edge Church for the past five years, helping lead the congregation into meaningful times of worship each week. Alongside his wife, Melissa, Dave has been involved in ministry for more than 20 years, faithfully using their gifts to serve the church and encourage others in their walk with Christ. Together, they are passionate about creating an atmosphere where people can encounter God through worship and grow in their faith.

​Steve Newman has faithfully served at Waters Edge Church for over 10 years alongside his wife, Becky as the church’s Facility Manager, Steve helps ensure that the building and grounds are well maintained and ready for ministry each week. Together, Steve and Becky also serve as the church’s Housekeeping team, working diligently behind the scenes to keep the church clean, welcoming, and prepared for everyone who walks through its doors. Their dedication and servant hearts help create an environment where people can gather, worship, and grow in their faith.

Belinda Davis serves as the Church Secretary at Waters Edge Church, faithfully managing many of the day-to-day administrative responsibilities that help the church operate smoothly. She also serves as the Pastor’s Assistant, providing support and coordination for ministry activities and church communication. Belinda’s dedication and attention to detail help ensure that the church’s offices and ministries stay organized and effective.
